Astrology as a Language for Life

I’ve always been fascinated by space—planets, stars, the vast unknown. Growing up, my role model was Sally Ride, the first American woman in space, and I proudly asked for a telescope for Christmas in 5th grade. Science and discovery fueled my curiosity, and yet, despite my love for the cosmos, I never expected astrology to become my life’s work.

Like many, I was once a skeptic. At 18, I googled, "Why do people believe in astrology?" expecting to confirm that it was nonsense. Instead, I found something deeper—a system of time, cycles, and personal insight that defied the shallow sun-sign stereotypes. Reading my own natal chart felt like flipping open a cosmic blueprint. I wasn’t just seen—I was understood.

At the time, I was equally immersed in books like Death by Black Hole (Neil DeGrasse Tyson) and The God Delusion (Richard Dawkins). My journey took me through atheism, Eastern philosophy, Tarot, and skepticism, before taking an unexpected detour into partying and binge drinking in my early 20s. It wasn’t until 2019, in the midst of mindset and manifestation trends, that I rediscovered astrology—this time with a deeper, more analytical lens.

Why Astrology?

Because it works. Believe me, otherwise I would have dropped this ages ago. I'm a certified Ravenclaw, smarty-pants, smart-mouth, smart-ass.

I found that Astrology is not a belief system—it’s a clock, a map, and a tool. It shows us the cycles we’re moving through, the patterns we keep repeating, and how to navigate life’s changing seasons with awareness. I use astrology to help my clients get unstuck, move forward with clarity, and align with their natural strengths instead of fighting against their own rhythms.

Practical, not passive – Astrology isn’t about fate, it’s about timing and awareness.
Rooted in study & structure – I blend traditional techniques with modern insights to give you a balanced, real-world application.
Co-creation over prediction – I don’t just tell you what’s coming; I help you work with the cycles that are already unfolding.

Education & Background

I have been practicing astrology casually since 2011, and seriously since 2021, building a foundation through structured coursework and direct application.

My studies include and continue through:

⭐ Kepler College: Covering predictive techniques, chart interpretation, and counseling-based astrology.
⭐ Hands-on Chart Readings: Reading for clients across different backgrounds and experiences, refining my ability to see astrology in action.

⭐ Philosophy & Approach: My work is influenced by Adlerian teleology, the idea that we are not simply shaped by the past but actively creating our future based on the outcomes we (often unconsciously) seek. Astrology, in this view, is a tool for self-awareness—helping us recognize the patterns we are reinforcing and the results we are moving toward.

I deeply resonate with astrologer Andrea Gehrz, who blends astrology with a teleological framework, using it to uncover not just what is happening, but why we might be moving in a particular direction. My work is rooted in this idea—helping you understand the quality of the time you’re living in and how to engage with it meaningfully.

What is Freesia Mind?

I chose the name Freesia Mind because freesia flowers symbolize trust, clarity, and new beginnings—all of which are core to my work. An Alchemical House represents the process of transformation—taking the raw materials of your life and refining them into something meaningful, intentional, and aligned.

Astrology, to me, is alchemy—it helps us see our patterns, understand the time we’re living in, and consciously shape the life we want.

A Vision for Something Bigger

Freesia Mind isn’t just a space for 1-1 astrology consultations—it’s evolving into an immersive experience for transformation. As the vision expands, my goal is to create workshops, retreats, and interactive spaces where astrology isn’t just something you learn—it’s something you experience firsthand.
