How to Get Your Birth/Natal Chart - How to Navigate Astro.com
Astrology can feel overwhelming when you're starting out, but everyone has to begin somewhere. Here's something you can do for yourself right now, completely free, that will offer deep insights into your personality:
Visit Astrodienst (astro.com) to generate your natal chart. It's the gold standard of free chart creation, in my opinion. Click in the middle where it says "Charts and Calculations". Click "Chart Drawings, Ascendant".
Input your birth data to see your chart and create an account.
Check the left-hand side of the chart drawing for the table listing your planet placements.
Now, Google each of your planetary placements to understand them better. For example:
"Mercury in Capricorn"
"Moon in Gemini"
Personal Planets - Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Ascendant
Here’s a quick guide to what each planet represents:
AC (Ascendant/Rising Sign): Who you want people to see you as, your "first impression."
Sun: The core of who you are—your personality’s foundation.
Moon: Your emotional self and how you process feelings.
